Andy Elliott is a working documentary and fine art photographer and video maker.

Born in Stockton-on-Tees in 1952, he began a lifetime’s work by teaching himself basic photography and using those skills to record the last years of the Steam Railway.

From the early 1970’s to the early 1990’s, he worked as a TV/Film Lighting Cameraman, giving this up to become a full-time carer for a period of ten years.

Having resumed work in 2002, he is now cataloguing over four decades worth of pictures, and beginning to make the best of those photographs available as beautiful hand - made prints.
